Relationship with Others
Grow Deeper Friendships
It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them.
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
When we connect deeply with other women, we connect deeply with ourselves. Opening ourselves up and sharing the things that are close to our hearts creates a space of shared vulnerability that leads to deep connection - the thing that we all, as human beings, crave more than anything.
Our friendships are therapeutic, empowering, healing, and unite our souls.
We take on many roles, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, partner, teacher, student, traveler, dreamer, friend, and so much more.
There is something very powerful about women coming together. We rely on each other’s support.
It’s important for women to create space to be seen and heard, validated, and supported.
Women represent life and creativity, love, mystery, nature, and spirit. All things with which we are constantly interacting with but forget to be with consciously.
Our lives sometimes require us to become numb and live on an automatic setting where we do what we "have to do" and what we're taught to do rather than what we desire. We become survivors of our trauma and pain and of our fears and mistakes without ever fully recovering.
If you’ve ever needed a friendship tune-up or a place to discuss what’s on your heart, Your Girlfriend Next Door (YGND) has created a platform to strengthen, preserve, and lead friendships to a better place. Rather if you are seeking friendship, or need support, Your Girlfriend Next Door is here.
Transforming Friendships to Lifeships
Having good solid friendships deepens our experience of life. They help us combat depression, anxiety, and loneliness while also encouraging us to be our most authentic self, to let our hair down, and allows our inner child to fly free.
So...how do we make new friends, maintain/improve the ones we already have, end friendships when needed, and become our own best friend?
If you need help with the breakup or management of a friendship, or any kind of interpersonal relationship, consider Friendship Coaching. This can give you an objective perspective that helps you see things more clearly, and take healthier actions. I’m here to help, Your Girlfriend Next Door.
